The Anglican diocese of Kapsabet is a diocese in the Anglican Church of Kenya.
It was established on 1st January 2016 and its inauguration was done on 6th January 2016 by his Grace the Archbishop of Kenya The Most Rev. Dr. Eliud Wabukhala.
It is guided by the diocesan constitution which was adopted in August 2016 during the first one day synod held at St. Barnabas pro cathedral. Being part of the Anglican church of Kenya the diocese subscribes to the provincial constitution in terms of structural formation.
The diocese was curved out of the A.C.K Diocese of Eldoret, which was also created out of Nakuru diocese on 1st January 1983. It covers the entire administrative Nandi County and consists of 6 ecclesiastical archdeaconries.
The first bishop was enthroned and consecrated on 12th June 2016 in an auspicious ceremony attended by more than 10,000 Faithful.
